“Fusion of the Divide interrogates the continually evolving dialog between art and architecture. Once stifled by a formal language, architects and artists have developed an attitude that questions and challenges their surroundings and the conventions of established disciplines. Materiality, navigation, memory, and topography are all areas considered by the artists. New realities emerge from a recognisable architectural language and mutate into hyper-realities, while the inner self is exposed onto external structures. The symbiotic relationship between art and architecture has, and still is, advancing. This exhibition aims to provide a discourse between these practices and a platform for a dynamic range of concepts and approaches.”
