The design brief was to extend the existing floor area whilst also increasing daylight levels within the rear accommodation of a Victorian house in Sydenham, South London. A solid extension with full height glazed doors to the rear garden, glass structures designed within the new roof and introduced within existing walls was proposed. The new addition provides an open plan layout with the rear reception, dining area and kitchen opening to the garden.
